The filling had been burned beyond recognition and it was hard to determine what the meat even was. However, when it was brought out to me it had scorched beef covering it as well as congealed sauce, and what was inside was even worse. Having had a tamale before, I ordered it, expecting it to be edible. It took him a while to even return, and when he did return he still didn't seem quite sure of the answer. For example, when we asked asked him to confirm that a tamal was indeed a tamale, he had to go ask someone. He was nice enough, but clearly inexperienced. Upon arrival we were greeted by a visibly nervous and new waiter. So, last Saturday when we finally decided to go back, we realized why we stopped. We used to go to this Mi Pueblos all the time as a family, it had been so long since we last went that we wondered why we stopped going.

Honestly, with all the trouble fixing everything that was wrong they should have taken care of the bills for the whole table (which may have cost them around 40.00 rather than 6 customers who are not going back). It took them at least a half dozen times to fix everything. We asked for the manager who eventually came by and did not take anything seriously, really didn't want to hear any issues and just kept smiling saying I'll fix it/everything's ok and it was not OK- and then he was walking around the restaurant on the phone which is so unprofessional. told that they couldn't be used (one because the wrong size dip was ordered- waitress did not point that out, and one because they said it's one coupon per table- COUPONS DO NOT SAY THAT- they say one coupon per person)! We asked for tea to go 4 times before it came. Nothing was right- orders were wrong (one order came out about 10-15 minutes after everyone else because it originally came out wrong)- checks were wrong- we had coupons and were.
